Stony Point High School Baseball would like to invite your child to be a member of the Tiger Baseball Cubs, a mentoring program in which Stony Point baseball players are paired with youngsters from our local elementary schools.  As members of the Tiger baseball Cubs, your son or daughter will build a relationship with his or her player, and through this relationship will gain an appreciation of the qualities and values which breed success in high school athletics.

For a minimal $15 fee, the elementary students are offered the opportunity to become a special buddy to a varsity baseball player. The Tiger Baseball Cubs, as they are officially known, receive personalized postcards from their player during the season.  They also have specially designed t-shirts which give them free entry to all varsity games when accompanied by their paying parent or guardian.  On weekday school nights games, Cubs will be welcomed to arrive early and come down to the field to stand with their Tiger during the National Anthem.  After nonschool night games, Cubs get to run the bases, play catch, and chat with their Tiger.  Players and Cubs attend "Kickoff" and "Season Finale" parties to celebrate their new found friendships.
