Ryan Goins, 2006 – Dallas Baptist SS Ryan Goins was selected as Division 1 Independent Player of the Year!

Ryan was named as a TPX Louisville Collegiate Baseball 3rd Team All-America Shortstop Ryan was selected by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 2009 MLB Draft in the 4th round (130th overall pick). He did sign a contract with the Jays, and went on to play in the New York Penn League with the Auburn Doubledays for 24 games before being promoted to the Lansing Lugnuts in the Class A Midwest League. Save a place for this former Tiger on your fantasy baseball roster – he’s on the move!
